i don't know about pennsylvania, but in maine you can get emancipated, legally, by the age of 16. It can't be that different a few states away right?

THAT DEPENEDS. ARE YOU OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL? DO YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO GO THAT YOU WILL BE PROTECTED? ARE YOU PROTECTED NOW? THIS HAS TO BE CONSIDERED ALOT IF YOU'RE UNDER THE AGE OF 18. ONCE YOU TURN 18, YOUR PARENTS ARE NOT LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU. THEY JUST DO IT OUT OF LOVE. BUT THE MAGIC AGE IS 18. YOU COULD ALSO BE EMANCIPATED IF YOU HAVE A JOB AT 16 AND CAN SUPPORT YOURSELF.
