Question about Islam?

very curious.

Why is it that when drawings of the Prophet Mohammad were published Muslims all over the world united to protest and object the slandering of Islam

Yet

When terrorist all over the world continue to attack innocent children, jews, christians, americans, and so on there is no united protests and objections from the huge Islam believers?? Killing in the name of Allah and Islam is just as much slander as is drawing a picture of the prophet, if not more severe! Islam practices peace why do these killings go on without protest from REAL PEACEFUL MUSLIMS???

This isn't intended to enflame an already heated situation.

some side notes. I AM MUSLIM. I also live in Irvine CA, Persian central of CA.

I have much respect for EVERY religion.

This is a question about Islam directly. this isn't about bush or lebanon. this isn't a question about war and countries. These people are claming Jihad in the name of ISLAM not in the name of specific country.

Some Muslims will say that terrorists acts are evil and condemn them. But Killing for the cause of Allah / Islam is rewarded and to oppose them could mean the death sentence. They aren't to contest fellow Muslim Jihadists.

There are about 1.3 billion muslims in the world. Subtract the number of violent Muslims you have seen on TV, heard ont he radio or read about in the papers and you have left approximately 1.3 billion peaceful Muslims.

Hundreds of innocent peoples killed in Lebanon -no outrage from any country of the world. Even Bush set up civil war in Iraq hundreds of innocent peoples killed in Iraq every day-no outrage from any corner of the world.
What happened to peaceful Jews, Christians, Americans, are they going speak up?
