I'm stressed out 24/7, primarily by my family, they are SO critical...I'm only 14, and I'm dealing with more stress than I can bear....How can I find the time to relax? Or what can I do so I'm not so stressed out all of the time?

Thanks so much for your answers thus so far..Except for the last one. I don't know what stress is? Trust me, I DEFINITELY know what stress is...I became an adult at age 10. There's so much going on right now that I have to deal with. Emotionally, I'm just out of it.

Find God, prayer, look at the stars and flower and realize how insignificant some things may seem. Lock your self in the bathroom, take a nice warm bubble bath with candles burning to the side. Try yoga sometimes. Sometimes just having a good friend to listen to your stresses will help. I also found that having a pet to sit in your lap will help give you a good karma feeling.
Good luck. Please don't give up. We have all been through it. You can do it!

I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with this. They are trying to drag you down into a pit. It's a really hard thing to do, but try to look at them as if you'd never met them before. Be as polite as possible. Concentrate on being the best you, YOU can be. If possible, look for someone to talk to outside your family. You will get through this time of your life. Hurting people, hurt other people.

I dont know if your much of a writer but writing stories/poems or just keeping a diary of the days always seems to help especially if your having a hard time. If your not a writer maybe draw something anything just to keep your mind off of things and let you have alone time.

You are way to young to be going through this. It's unhealthy. I had a pathetic childhood and left home the first time when i was your age, I do not recommend it.
Find someone to talk to. Try a guidance councilor or a teacher you like and respect.
If it becomes to much tell your family and go see a councilor.

Tell you fam to leave you alone, and go out with your friends and do kid stuff with them... and learn to prioritize, make a list of things you need to do with #1 being the most important... then cross things off to make you feel like you are making progress!

i can sympathize with you.. i was a mother at 14 and living on my own with my sons dead beat scum bag father who would rather do drugs than feed his son. i had no family no help.. but i survived and finished school. my son is 13 now and i have a 10 yr old daughter, i dumped the scum bag and married a great man. i strongly believe that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. one day at a time.
