You would think it would bother people who had an ounce of intellectual drive. "Hmmm, if I were born over there, or into that family, I'd believe that faith wast the true one ..." But by and large they ALL "know" they're "right." How we ever got out of the caves is truly a mystery.

I find a huge difference between faith and religion.
Re: Faith:
It is difficult to believe that we, as human beings, are the best thing under the sun, isn’t it? We NEED to believe in something. Faith could be an enormous driving force - sometimes creative, sometimes really destructive. Faiths come in different shapes and forms (as do we) but a lot of them have similar core values.
Re: Religion (and I mean any religion):
A force to be reckoned with, it plays a huge role in our society and our lives. It is also sometimes directly responsible for quite a lot of the problems that exist between people of different faiths.
Re: Religion and faith:
How did it happen that the loving almighty gods created us so fallible and deprived us from the basic ability to communicate with them? They say that, instead, they appointed official interpreters (kind of a middle man) to tell us what our creators have in mind. It looks like the middle men might have some vested interest in claiming that the faith they support is the only “true” one. We all know about the pain, blood and destruction caused by religious fanatics of different faiths trying to prove similar claims. Some religions seem to have evolved from the stages of their “aggressive puberty”. Unfortunately, others are just facing it.
It doesn’t really matter who is right and who is wrong. It might be because of some communication breakdown between gods and the middle men the real meaning of “Love your neighbour!” was never revealed to us. What matters is to look for understanding, tolerance and real love between people of different faiths.
You should definitely follow your heart and believe in whatever works for you. It is THE STRENGTH OF YOUR CONVICTION that will set apart your faith as the only “true” one for you. Follow your beliefs, give your best, become a better person and make this world a better place. That should be more than enough. And remember - nobody should have the right to force on you their opinion as to whether their faith is the “true” one, hence better than yours.

good day YUHATEME! Christians are literally no longer below Mosaic regulation. Jesus got here to fulfill it. That regulation replaced into only a shadow or prepare ensuing in Jesus Christ. (Gal. 3:24-28; Heb. 10:a million-4, 10, 18) i'm grateful to the questioner for his precise & type words. You appeared for your self rather of accepting gossip. We do in difficulty-free words flow by technique of what the Bible somewhat teaches. it is thoroughly diverse from different religions and motives them to hate us. The Bible teaches this is because we tell the actuality. i think as we talk, it is likewise by using result on the clergy's wallet. Who might want to provide them something at the same time as they locate out the clergy has been training lies? some might want to even call for a reimbursement! Now what about you? Come connect us! you comprehend what's authentic. do not wait until eventually eventually it is too previous due. both at the same time as the time of our ministry will be closed or, like me get bodily tangled up so as no longer be ready to flow out.

I'm a christian and I was raised like a catholic, so i believed that only catholic faith was the true faith. But then i grew up and and met others beliefs. I became a born again christian and I felt it was the right thing. Soon after i realised that they thought they were the only one knowing God, still they acted like everybody and sometimes you discover some shocking actings. Discouraged, I asked myself the same question you are asking. Then I knew that true faith have nothing to do with religion. If God is above all, then He is the one who knows who understands his mystery. Abraham or David were not religious but God loved them so much. For me there is only one God with different names and he is above religions. I believe He is love and mercy and everything that is good. Everyone one who understands that and builds a relationship with him accordingly then has the true faith.

Hi -
Why does there have to be a "true faith"? Consider:
If there is no God then the different religions are wrong on that account but they are still models (some good and some bad) for people to live their lives.
If there is a God then why do we think that he is so petty and small minded that he honestly cares if we pray in Latin or Hebrew or Arabic or Chinese? Maybe he just wants us to be good people and live good, happy lives? Or maybe he has more important things to do then to listen to us every time we pray for a parking spot at the mall or a winning lotto ticket?
Maybe God is above religion????

Nobody's going to believe theirs is the "false" faith, or else they wouldn't believe in it. A lot of religious people are comfortable with doubt, but the ones that become especially fervent in their beliefs might use the concept of one true faith as a self-preservation mechanism.

Why does truth have to be polaristic; either/or? Could it be so complex as to be both/and? Perhaps truth is many things at the same time? "The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life" John 6:63
We are only finite, the Spirit works on a different plane, where life is simply more complex. Ask any mathematician

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true and authorized Church.
You are right when you say they all can't be right.
How can you know? *Revelation (You must get your answer directly from God, otherwise you will just have faith, and not knowledge)
Other Churches contain some things that are true (some have many things which are true)...But the True Priesthood Authority has been restored to the Earth and it is in "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

we CAN all believe that our faith is true & yes we CAN all be right at the same time. Islam, Christianity Sikhism, Budhism or whatever... they're mostly all true except mormonism of course because i think that was just made up by a guy who confessed to it on his death bed- unless i'm mistaken!
it's the denominations i'm not sure about, if you asked me which is the true christian denomination- who has it right? then i'd have a lot more trouble answering you.
