find the right study bible that is bent on application and has plenty of notes that keep it simple. I recommend the Word in Life Bible or the Life Application Bible for starters.

You can't randomly open the Bible and find answers you are looking for all the time. If you are more specific about an area someone here could probably find the right scripture for you. If you are looking for a specific topic you should get a reference book at a book store for research. There are some great and helpful books that you can just look up keywords in your problem and generally find helpful verses.
This works for me. I also could not find the time to read the entire Bible, but I did drive a lot. I bought a dramatized version of the NIV Bible on CD, over 3 months I listened in my truck every time I got a chance. I had never been so enlightened. I would not advise getting one that is King James or read by some celebrity. Get one that is dramatized. It helps you to follow much easier. Now all the stories, scriptures, and events of the Bible are much clearer to me. I can also remember where to find verses much easier. I since have began listening to it all over again.
Anyway: my answer: more resources. Not many people can just sit down and "study" the Bible with no structure. There are thousands of people who have done a lot of the leg work for you to get more out of the Bible faster. You may also try keywords in an internet search with the word Bible. You may find something there too.

Reading the bible is Good but somtimes we need to speak to other christian people. find someone you can trust and speak with them and pray with them about these issues you may find that they too have had similar struggles. Please dont feel God has abandoned you if you feel that you have failed in any way he loves you and there is nothing you can do to make him love you more
I will pray now for you.........
God Bless
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.

Perhaps talk to your pastor. Your pastor may be able to guide you in that support area of how to find a particular scripture you need to help you. Also, remember that any prayers we say are answered in God's time and in God's way, not when and how we expexct them to be answered. Blessings to you--

Have you talked to a pastor or a strong Christian? They might help you, no one should struggle alone.
"two is better than one for they can defend themselves..."
"Bear each others burden in love..."
I know how it feels when the Bible doesn't seem to help that's when i talk to a trusted brother or sister to get help.
I'm praying for you.

maybe your looking for support in something that is not God's will or is not within the right time frame? I'd give up and just let Jesus lead you where he wills.

The Bible is not a magic book.
You need a personal relationship with Jesus.
Ask him in today.

Stop reading the Bible, that's what you should do. After Abraham Lincoln did he became president.
"The Bible is not my book, and Christianity is not my religion. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." -- Abraham Lincoln

Do you have a topical guid? I do, I can look up a word, and find all the scriptures that have that word in it. Try getting one.
best wishes
