Estoy cansado/cansada

2006-10-18 12:28:50 · answer #1 · answered by Chevalier 5 · 3 0

You could say any of the ones they've posted, however, this one is THE best one:

Tengo hueva

Only someone whose spanish knowledge is high will actually understand, if the person doesn't really know a lot of spanish, just say "estoy cansado" (if you're a boy) or "estoy cansada" (if you're a girl).

You say ESTOY CANSADA (you pronounce it [estoi kansada]) for female and ESTOY CANSADO [estoi kansado] for male... you can also say EXHAUSTO/A (exhausted you know...) [exhausto] [exhausta] Remember that in Spanish the H has no sound so you'd pronounce it EXAUSTO - EXAUSTA.
I just want to make clear that the words between brackets are misspell on purpose for you to read it the way it must be pronounce!

Estoy cansado. If it is feminine replace the 'o' at the end with an 'a'

Other words that you could use instead of 'cansado' would be:
fatigado
extenuado
agotado
trabajado
cascado
derrotado
destrozado
exhausto
fatigoso
molido
rendido
harto
hecho polvo
para el arrastre
or my favorite "Estoy hecho mierda"

Heh heh, it might seem redundant to answer this since everyone is saying the same thing. "Estoy cansado" (masculine) or "Estoy cansada" (feminine) is literally "I'm tired". You could also say "Tengo sueño", which is the Spanish equivalent to "I'm sleepy".
