I have prayed for you specifically everyday since about the third question I answered. For health, for strength for healing in heart mind an soul not becuz I think you are sick, but becuz we all need it.

I've had believer friends say they'd say a prayer for me if something in my life currently sucked, so some likely have.

Granted I do not believe in such things, but I still recognize it as a kind gesture if it's someone I know. Now the "I'll pray for you" bit because someone does not believe their religion, that's a different thing, and kinda rude in the non believers mind...

Every day! just because you don't believe the same way as me don't mean the Lord don't love you ..He says to pray for your enemies and bless them...Although I don't feel you or any atheist are my enemies,I feel we are all equal but we just don't think the same..I'm talking about the ones who truly try to do harm to you as your enemies..I pray for everyone I meet and I say a prayer for those I don't know...

my father was hhmm perhaps atheist , he had no feelings one way or the other
during his battle with cancer , i asked if i could pray and that some friends of mine also wished to and ask for healing
he said ... ok what harm can it do
i would never pray for anyone without permission , i do not feel that is the right thing to do

Yes, Spooky, I have prayed for an athiest. I pray for my brother, his heart needs healing, and I have prayed for you, that you are shown people of faith who are not as ugly as the loud ones. I have prayed for Julia - she needs help.

I am sorry if I have offended you - but I like you enough that I care.

Yeah, but honestly it's only been people who are close to me, and generally the prayer involve a little more than "help them know God is real."

best wishes
