love HAS NEVER BEEN childish!
even the love between two 10-year old kids isnt childish! in fact it could be more meaningful than love between two adults!
love is love!
it could be expressed differently from stage to another or age to another, but at the end, its an emotion that should be appreciated and not ignored...

I think a lot of people say things like that because as time goes on, the young kids of each generation become increasingly focused on having relationships at a young age. And it's not sweet and innocent anymore, it produces early pregnancies, std's, and all kinds of emotional confusion. People say that to try to convince you to slow down and focus on school and developing yourself as a person. You have YOUR WHOLE life to love someone. And 98% of young love, doesn't last beyond high school. If you ARE in love, that's wonderful, but don't stress over it and don't let it become your whole world. It can stunt your growth as a young woman. Head up.

You live and you learn. Young love is the most beautiful thing. I'm only twenty one and I can still remember my first, second, and third love. The only thing about it is you'll experience things that you never have before with this boy and before you know it. he'll dump you for someone that's sexually active or has a bigger chest. Believe me, I know. You just do your thing and don't ask adults because they'll never understand. Even though I'm older, my young person pass hasn't been taken yet. Live your life, do what you're gonna do because you only live in that moment once, you can't go back, remember that.

HELL NO IT AINT CHILDISH!!
Young people have feelings 2! Its just that older people dont think we r ready 4 that kinda commitment. R U? Dont b mad at them they r just trying 2 protect u. U better think carefully before u get too involved with anyone, because u might get ur heart broke. Do u think u can handle that?
I dont wanna scare u off but these r the facts. Just take it one step at a time.& dont force it or try 2 rush in2 anything.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

you are correct in saying young teens have feeling - but there is a lot more to love than just feelings. that is why everyone says u r too young. you do not understand that in love there is more, as children we do not understand, but as we grow and mature we realize how childish our view of love is as a child

NO, young love is NOT childish. It is very real and at times, very painful. Your first love is the one you will never forget, whether platonic or physical. Ignore the stupid remarks made by others. They obviously have no feeling, compassion or sense.

I think we all have to start somewhere, and the only way to learn is to start young. I say good luck and keep going- just be sure to not give to much of yourself away to soon- be careful. Good luck

It matters how old you are. If you are younger than 15 then I believe so. If you around that age you have to confront yourself, and assure yourself that you really are in love with that person rather than hormones speaking for you.
