Because people think if your god u can do this you can do that but thats not the case. god does what he think is right, he is not going to do what ever for them because he knows if he does people are going to go to him for what they want and not for what they believe. For example just loving god. When god doesnt do it they either say there is no god and if there is where is he. I think people should ask themself how on earth did the world get here, how was people made and their response monkeys! Well how was monkeys invented? Its just simple things like this everybody thinks god owes them more!

Because the prophecy of Paul is being lived out.
As it is written: "You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." (II Timothy 3:1-4)
It has always been this way to a degree, but lately, especially in the US, it has become an art form.

I don't think that is what most do. A little child gets innocently excited when their parents say they are going to take them somewhere. They do not care if they LOOK like they are ungrateful or greedy or any of the adult sin related stuff --they are just happy that they can trust their parents to do what they say they are going to do. We should be like the little children--just be happy and sit back and love the ride our wonderful Father has promised us.

God has given me everything He knows that I need. I might want more, but that is completely up to God if I get more.

Because people don't like to have to take responsibility for the messes they create. It is easier for them to blame God or others.

I know what you mean. What gets me is the atheists who complain that God is mean because He'd send them to hell for not believing in Him. I mean, please, they don't believe so what do they care? And if they really do believe, why do they think that their mere existence should entitle them to heaven? Heaven is not something you're entitled to just for being born, you have to earn it. You don't believe in Him, why should He save you?

This is a selfish "whats in it for me, me, me" generation. There have always been selfish people - but as the Bible said - the love of many would wax cold. Its now a love of one - "self".
