Well, I imagine everyone is a bit of a hypocrite at some time in their life, not just Christians or even religious folk of other groups. A hypocrite is basically someone who pretends to be something they are not. Not all Christians are hypocrites. Some are very sincere. Their fairy tales! Well, now there is a matter of opinion. They might be fairy tales to you or I, but something sacred and wonderful to them. So... why can't you just let them enjoy life in the way they see fit? Can't you learn to be tolerant of someone else's right to be different? To see things from their own point of view? I am not asking you to agree with them, or accept what they say as the "Truth". Just let them be what they want to be. If they bug you by trying to convert you, it is easy enough to turn a deaf ear, or say, "Sorry, but I am just not interested." Anyone can learn to have good manners, if they really want to. People of all sorts will like you better, if you do.

probably not cuz we all are hypocritical, like many atheists are openlt hypocritical. All of us have our myths. Atheists have their out dated myth of verticle evolution proven in error by geneticists. Not so different. Check your own heart. In there will be the reason. Perhaps rooted in previous experience or trauma, perhaps bad parenting, some poor examples in your life by cristians, they are just people you know, then there is pride and the need to be in control (this one is a sicknessnot the like but the need) there might be many reasons but I am certain that christians as a group are not it, or you would feel the same about politicians teachers, bosses many other hypocritical and judgemental people everywhere. or were you just being naughty and insulting and really did not want an answer.

Some christians can be annoying because they serve God in public and brag about it but sin more than nonbelivers. But there are alot of christians who aren't closet christians and do belive in God with all there hearts. Those type of christians dont say fairy tales or do hypocrity. I wish i could say i was a true christian, but i sin alot still. But still, the good christians mean well. they dont say negative things and they tell the truth about what God does. But bad ones just try to push belives on you. Good ones don't. They are just here to be witnesses to God's power. NOT annoy or hypocrite. Ok?

You're getting worked up over it. I'm not Christian, but there are plenty of nice enough Christians as well as jerks. You sound cynical, which is fun to do sometimes, but I think it usually gets you down and makes you as close minded as any other hypocrite. Just get on with your own thing if it bothers you.

The word of God is powerful and always gets a reaction. People always decide when they here about Jesus. You either love him and accept his salvation or you hate him and want to shut him and his people up. That is why Stephen was stoned in the bible, because the people hated his words. They are life to some and death to others. I hope you eventually choose life.

Yeah, I have to agree. Disgust is a strong word. Christians in general do not disgust me, but I have met some who have. Mostly I just get annoyed, but you know what they say, Not all Christians are fundamentalist but all Christian Fundamentalist are Christian.

It's the fairy tales. Some of them insist the stories be taken literally and that's not necessary. One can use common sense and still believe. Many Christian traditions do it, unfortunately you haven't seem to have met them yet.

Yes many are disgusting. Not all--It is said "You will know that we are Christians by our love" Well, we fail miserably don't we? I remember hearing once that Gandhi was asked once what he thought of Christians and he said "If I truly ever met one, I would let you know"--I am sorry

A little from column A and a little from column B?
Maybe choice C: The willingness to let A and B run your life.
