Okay I need help. I love my best friend. And it's taken a while for him to get his feelings out. We've been best friends for a year. And today he wrote back to me about something we'd been thinking over for a pretty long time. I wanna say yes, but I don't know...
I dont want anything to change. Would things change for the good if we became more than friends?
This is exactly what he wrote:
Hey (my name) I think your really nice and beautiful and I can say a million good things about you also, and I think I do like you. But I'm really shy and it's hard to say it but, I dont know, like if I asked you to be my girlfriend I dont want you to feel weird or anything, so anyways I think you're everything I would ever want in a girlfriend. And if you don't want to be my girlfriend it's okay I'll understand I don't want to put you under any pressure or stress.
I haven't written back yet, but I want to think it over carefully
Should i say yes or no?

Things have already changed between you now since he told you about his feelings. So it cant get any worse really. So i say if you really like this guy, you should give him a chance. Good luck. :)

It's obvious that he likes you and wants to be your boyfriend. He is being cautious with his words and is implying that he does not want to put pressure on you. The reality is that the pressure is on him and he is being cautious about rejection. He's nervous and is taking baby steps with you. That's totally normal. If you really like him alot, then just say yes and assure him that being his girlfriend would not make you feel weird, but would make you very happy and proud.

i am sharing a story from experience do it if you think you care for him that way but I had a best friend from the time I was in eigth grade and we started to date when we were like 22 (so we were like best friends for like 8 or 9 years) so we decided since we did love each other why dont we be a couple. the first couple of months were great but when we got in are first serious fight since we were best friends for a long time we already knew all the dirt about each other like cheating on ex's stuff like that we instantly started throwing that at each other and it ruined are relationship and most important are friendship so beware if you think its going to last go for it but if its short it will probably ruin your friendship but good luck:)

you should say yes otherwise you will always wonder.....what if I had said yes instead of no. He sounds like a sweet guy who has given it a lot of thought about being with you. Sweet guys are hard to find so, you should go for it. Good luck!

It is up to you.
Chances are, once he has made this move if you say no then he won't be able to be your friend anymore.
So the friendship is basically over.
You need to choose, do you want more, or nothing.

say yes if you like him but if you don't say no and if you like him but your afraid of how you might feel about the relationship don't be you still be bf so don't thinks whats in your mind but heart.

you should totally say yes he seems REALLY sweet but if you dont like him then tell him how u feel, he told u how he felt
