Slow Cooker Glazed Pork Roast with Carrots and Corn

1 boneless pork shoulder roast (3 lb)
1 bag (1 lb) ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2/3 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 cup Green Giant® Niblets® frozen whole kernel corn (from 1-lb bag)

1. If pork roast comes in netting or is tied, remove netting or strings. Remove fat from pork. In 3- to 4-quart slow cooker, place pork. Arrange carrots around and on top of pork. In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, the honey, vinegar and seasoned salt; pour over pork and carrots.
2. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
3. Remove pork and vegetables from cooker; place on serving platter. Cover to keep warm.
4. In small bowl, mix 2/3 cup barbecue sauce and the flour; gradually stir into juices in cooker. Increase heat setting to High. Cover; cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Stir in corn. Cover; cook 5 minutes longer. Serve sauce over pork and vegetables.

Can you make a cherry sauce? It's awesome with the pork.
Deglaze your pan with a little red wine, add shallots and frozen cherries. Season with salt and pepper. Add a tablespoon of butter to thicken if needed.

Rice pilaf and green beans are nice side dishes.

Or you could go the Italian route and serve it with buttered noodles (add fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon). Broccoli sauteed with garlic in olive oil and topped with parmesan is a good addition.

Pork shoulder in a cider gravy sauce with shallots. Long green beans, roast potatoes, and a fab red wine.

Pork shoulder with baked honey roasted peaches, mashed potatoes and shredded aubergine and carrot.
(or you could do with carmalised pineapple)

Save me a doggy bag pls.....enjoy.

I usually do a shoulder in the crockpot with a couple cans of sauerkraut and some peeled potatoes. Also, serve applesauce and corn muffins. Yummy!

How about a sweet potato casserole with apples and brown sugar and butter.
Or carrots with butter and brown sugar or look on Recipes.com for some sort of pinapple casserole thing.

Depends on how you cooked it but, fried apples or applesauce are your best bet, along with a nice salad & scalloped piotatoes and veggie of your choice.
