My name is Jeremy. I know Jeremiah is translated to Jeremias in Spanish but I was wondering if Jeremy translated to something. I assume it would porbably be very close, but I was just wondering if there actually is a difference in the Spanish language.

It's Jeremías (with the accent)
It's poronounced differently:
(JE = as in HEllo)
(RE = as in REscue)
(MÍ = as in ME)
(AS = asi no AS)
Kind of "Heremeeas"

As far as I know you just pronounce it Jeremy with the j like an "h" sound.

Yes, as Draco says the i is stressed, but the accent tick ` is not written as the ia construct assumes an accent on the i naturally.
