fried green tomatoes are great --- cut them into slices with flour salt pepper dredge them shake off excess flour and deep fry until golden brown --- you can also put the green tomatoes in your window sill or a brown paper bag along with an apple that has been slice to make them ripe so you will have ripe tomatoes

Forget about them--green tomatoes (unripe tomatoes) are not good to eat. They are very acidic. Even in the vegetarianism that is suggested for our group (lacto-veg), it is to be avoided since it is "tamasik" (static) food.

if you have a deep fryer cut the tomatoes into thin slices and fry them, if not here is my suggestion.

cut fresh green tomatoes into thin slices. use corn meal to coat them (breading). fry them until golden and crispy in a pan with olive oil. serve with hot sauce and or ketchup.

well its not realy green tomatoes just put food coloring on the tomatoe (green food coloring)

wash, slice one eighth inch thick, dipin a milk egg mixture, meal them and fry.really good too!
