So, I have a class in my H.S. with pre-schoolers. I want to dress up for Halloween, but I don't know what to do. I don't want to scare the kids, but I really want to dress up. Oh, I also have no money. Any ideas!? Thanks for your help!

A clown is the best and cheapest way to go. If you have enough hair to put in a ponytail, make one on top of your head so the hair hangs down kind of straggly around your head. Put on a "baggy" pair of jeans, and roll the legs of them up just below the knees. Next, find two different colored socks and put those on. Then put on the biggest checkered, flowered, or pokadotted shirt you can find, and tuck it into the pants. If you have suspenders, great, if not, put on a belt. Next, find a couple of tennis shoes that are too big, stuff the toes with socks so you can walk in them, then blow up 4 balloons, "not" all the way, tie them and put two on each shoe. If you have a straw hat great, if not a ball cap or any hat will do. Put it on your head and stick a fake flower through the side of it. Then take red or pink lipstick and draw a circle on the end of your nose. Then with an eyebrow pencil, draw eyelashes on your face sort of like raggety ann & Andy dolls. And, Tuh-duh! your a clown! I hope this helped you & good luck.

here's some ideas: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the red circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy dress, vivid eyelashes and strings attached of course) a facebook/myspace page (use cardboard) someone from a certain time period 50s,60s,70s,80s(very fun!) or from medieval/rennaissance commonly known fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, etc. This one is pretty cheesy but one of you could string small ceral boxes on a piece of rope then stick forks thru the boxes and wear it around your neck (hence THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one might be to "gay" for you (since 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) but its just a suggestion.

do you have a prom dress(maybe last years)? add a tierra and be a princess or wing and be a fairy. or just mix and match bright colored clothes (2 diff socks and shoes) paint ur face and be a clown. always make my and my kids costumes. look at some store costumes it's really easy to do alot of them yourself. good luck.

i did the same thing once so what you do is if you have enough hair+ha ha+take some decoration ribbon and make 6 buns (hair) and grab a black long sleeve and skirt but not one of those slutty skirts one that goes past your knees.and black shoes if you don't have any white is fine too. and your usual makeup and say you're an Irish dancer. Not Perverted!hell if i lived near you I'd lone you some stuff or do it for you.my avatar does look like me but looks are deceiving

Christopher Robin is really easy....blue jean shorts...a striped shirt, white scoks, brown shoes, carry an umbrella open upside down with Winnie the Pooh in it.

bag of candy....you need two bags of balloons and a clear garbage bag. Blow up all the balloons, put a hole on the bottom if the clear garbage bag and pull it up to your crotch. put all the balloons in the bag and tie it off around your neck...loooosely. Don't pack too much or it will be hard to sit. you could give the kids candy.

a spider (my favorite...) dress all in black. Get two pairs of black panty hose and stuff the leg parts cut the legs off the body of the sotckings and pin to your clothes.one under your arm the other on your hip. Tie the two legs together with black string and connect to your arm so they all move together. do the same thing on the other side. Buy a package of fake webbing and put it on your head or back or anywhere. Cheap and easy.

The Gypsy fotune teller is always easy to make up out of a closet. Big ear rings, big skirt, lots of scarves. Carry some Tarot cards or even a crystal ball.

Just a note. Many young children are afraid of clowns.
Where an orange sweatshirt and draw a jack-o-latern face on it.
