What strategies do firms use to try to position themselves on the basis of pairs of attributes and benefits?

gee dear i jumped on this hoping to answer based on my 25 years experience but i have never heard the term basis of pairs of attributes - what the heck is that

Features and benefits are the only way a business can set itself a part from the competition and present itself to the public. Typically, they answer all the who, how, what, when and where questions about the firm. That forms the basis for all their advertising and promotion.

I do not know what firms uses, but
I know what the billiondollar man Bob C. uses for TV marketing!
His simple strategy is WSGAT!
Feature WSGAT Benefit
Feature WSGAT Benefit
Feature WSGAT Benefit

Feature is the fact about the product that does not change!
Benefit is the emotional statement that adds value to that feature
WSGAT is What's So Good About That
