I and few other members have posted some links, videos, and other things to back up our words. I notice that many doesn't even dare to do the same. Is this because they perfer to live in their fantsany world or is this because they simply know their words are worthless? Don't anyone think it would be better if you back your words up with a few proofs?

Oh and before all of you say I bash everything that isn't my own style, I don't do karate of any type. Yet I still post some postive thing about karate. Pretty much everyone here know I'm not fan of Tae Kwon Do but yet I still post some good clip of a Tae Kwon Do fighter beating a Muay Thai fighter up. I think most Kung Fu are trash but yet I do my research and admit that San Shou/San Da are a serious thearten to Muay Thai fighter and post a link to prove it.

Ok go ahead and make fun of my grammar skill because english isn't my first lanaguage. At least I can speak three lanagauage well.
Edward, there's few like us who doesn't like black belt factory. However I don't believe that one art is superior to others. On other hand I do believe some style have more problems than others which make it very difficult to learn and use it successfully.

Are you looking for peoples personal photos/videos to prove they are trained. OR do you want us to go to yahoo or google and search a martial art and plagerize what it says etc...
I 100% agree with Hood on this one. First learn how to type than learn how to fight...
People with knowlage and dicipline on any subject do not need to go out of their way to show off. If you do it only shows you are trying to prove somthing probably cover up for a small ego or somthing else.
Additional: Martial Arts are not meant to learn so you can be a tough guy and beat people up on the street or competition. All martial arts are difficult to learn well. I have never taken Karate but I guarentee I can throw a better punch or kick than alot of people who have. But to truley understand the art and master it it takes dicipline and time. You want easy go learn how to box, or shoot a gun. Research the history of the arts rather than what ou see on TV in Movies or in North american schools. One of the reasons why Jujitsu and Judo are so good is because they still teach the origional style. You rarely see other dojos/senses trying to create their own version of it and if you do in the case of Gracie and brazillian Jujitsu they are only adding techniques like striking to make it better for their need in an actual competition setting. Anyone with a brown belt in most Arts can open up a dojo and they're left to teach what ever they want. Unfortunatly this seems to happen more often in Karate and TKD dojos.

I don't post clips/links or video because I can't be bothered. Just because you have a clip of a particular disipline kicking the **** out of another, doesn't automatically prove that one is better than the other.
I respect all martial arts, for what they are. If you want a personal opinion, (which I doubt..) I think that any grappling technique will win out over a striking technique in the long run, however, there is always the danger of the knockout.
Links, clips and videos are only as good as the people showing them. What I mean, is, for every one showing how much better one technique is, there is a matching one defending said technique.
But, by all means, keep showing them. It makes for nice viewing for those of us who "do" and not those who "talk about doing".

First of all, if people are going to criticize the way others write, they should not start a sentence with a conjunction (as Hood does) or spell "knowledge" (correct spelling) as "knowlage" (the way Aficionado incorrectly spells it, immediately after making fun of Nine's typing skills).
On the other hand Nine Demons, you make the mistaken assumption that people post their views here to prove something. You seem to be on a mission to promote a particular approach to martial arts -- hard physical training combined with competitive, full contact sparring. This is perfectly fine, but you are fooling yourself if you think anyone is going to walk away from the computer feeling enlightened by your statements or your links.
If anyone finds what I've written to be helpful, that is great. If not, my posting links to videos, or going on about what rank I hold in whatever martial art ,or indicating the number of years I've trained isn't going to make any difference. Either what I say makes sense, or not, and this won't be the same for everyone.
Don't fret it. You seem to be sincere in your approach to martial arts, so just train. Don't worry if others don't take the same approach. We all have our own paths to walk.

What kind of a link would you expect me to post in answer to this question?
It's not always appropriate to post a link. In looking through your history, I've found a few questions where you didn't post a link, but it wasn't appropriate to at those times.
In the questions I answer, there's usually no link I could post that the person couldn't find with a simple Google search. If they just wanted what they could find in a Google search, they'd have done that instead of posting a question here. I don't answer questions about arts other than Kung Fu, which I teach and practice. For the religion questions I answer, I usually refer them to books by reputable authors rather than to websites.
I don't try to answer the ever popular "which is best" questions, because I find them silly.

I prefer to point the person in the general direction, and let them research it for themselves instead of doing it for them, and they find out for themselves whether or not that it is or is not what they're lookin for.
it's all out there; information, articles, documentaries etc., and a little detective work and common sense will usually get you where you need to go.
I learned much of what I know by trial and error, and by just actually taking the time to resaerch it, instead of having someone show it to me like I was in a daycare.
and plus I don't think that bullshido.net is exactly a prime source of information about other disciplines, especially since it's mainly another posting area for people's opinions good or ill just like this Q & A forum is.

I generally don't answer martial arts questions, but I think this one is in my purview. I have never found the need to research a question since I answer from my own "general fund of knowledge", as they are fond of calling it in the military. I can answer the questions that I do, knowing full well that it is the same info I would use under the same circumstances. I'm sorry if you have been getting bogus info, but something a fighter should have is a working "BS" detector. Get one if you decide to join the military. It will keep you alive.

I'm always posting links of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practicioners making a mockery of TKD, Kung Fu, Karate guys.
No one ever posts the clips of TKD, Kung Fu, and Karate defeating BJJ because you know why?.....those clips don't exist because this doesn't happen!
I'm glad I'm not the only person here on the Martial Arts page that sees the absolute ridiculousnes of what these McDojo's and black belt factories are brain washing people with. A total waste of your time and money. Save the money you're spending on TKD, Kung Fu, and Karate and just spend $12.99 on a black belt...it's the same thing.

A lot of aren't relying on web sites for our info, although I'm sure we could find it on line if we looked. Also, just because something is on the web doesn't make it accurate.

Because you are an idiot and think that www.bullshido.net is the END all of everything martial arts related... when really it just sounds to me like a bunch of whiny BJJ kids who like to make their art look stupid by putting everyone else down. AND because you can't form complete sentences to make it easy to understand what it is you are trying to say!
