if you buy jam that is made simply of fruit like i think smuckers has a 100% fruit jam. Also you could make your own fruit jelly or use honey, that is a really good choice.

If you are worried about the sugar content of jelly, you can get sugar free jelly. When I got tired of eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I would use honey in place of the jelly. It was quite good.

Jelly is healthy anyways. It has no fat and no cholesterol, and if you choose a low sugar version, it doesn't have many calories either. That's why you are often served jelly in hospital.

I buy sugar free jellies...pretty good too. Alternative to jelly would be honey...I crush walnuts on top it too, yummy.
