Move to Scotland or Ireland. There are many women with red hair there and most of them are as shy as you.

I would recommend the Scandinavian variety of redhead. We tend to be a bit morbid (Swedish ones mostly for some reason) but are generally a friendly lot. But not that friendly, so get your mind out of the gutter.

No moving to foreign lands required for this, as there are plenty of us roaming about California and various parts of the Mid-West USA with impunity.

And, uh, good luck. Also try stocking your pockets with vodka and smoked salmon. We dig that stuff.

(Who says calling her "Red" is unimaginative and a quick way to get maced. And then kicked while you're down. Friendly is one thing, stupid is another.)

Being a redhead, I feel I'm no different than any other girl. What about redheads makes you freeze up? You don't need feel that we are unapproachable. Try being friends with one, it may help you relax some.

Hi, I'm a red head. I think you must be intimitated by confronting something that you like so much. Maybe if you can become friends with a red head and go on from there. Talking to a red head is just like talking to any other person, the only difference is the color of our hair.

Can you talk to blondes or brunettes? I mean, I'm not a blonde or a brunette, but I imagine its not that much different talking to me than talking to anyone else. Hell, in a way, you just talked to me now. Now go out there and talk to some more read headed girls!

(And I cant speak for all redheads, but calling me 'red' is not a good way to pick up on me.)

Pretend your 14 or 15. A red-headed girl is no different than a girl with any other colored hair.

first try to figure out why you freeze up when approaching a red head, and go from there.
