Exercising after work in the evening ? that leave's around 5 hours after your lunch time, i am assuming that you work a normal 9 - 5 job, this is good.. i always use this on my clients.

think of this, your stomach is a car tank and you just fueled it at lunch time, with (i am assuming proper food) and that after 5 hours of settleing down with work (office, naturally sitting down looking at the computer screen) your fuel tank should be running low, you need to drive your car down (meaning exercise) so will your car move without fuel ?

but if you keep refueling your tank with fuel whole day long, it will keep the engine revving and keep burning FUEL (burning fats) so ensure you eat light meals in between your lunch time.

do not eat then workout as blood will be needed to digest your food and you would get cramps easily. Recommended time to eat before exercise is 1 - 2 hours before. Remember FUEL up before you work out ! hope that explained it, CHEERS

Protein after you exercise will help you build up muscle (I prefer Tuna or Frozen, Pre-Grilled Chicken Breast). It's best not to eat anything 45 minutes before you exercise, but make sure yo udrink plenty of water.

Eat something an hour before, maybe a banana and protein shake and eat or drink something right after with carbs and protein for recovery.
