no such thing as an Oldsmobie Altima. if you want to buy a Nissan Altima, stay away from it. it very unreliable and not easy for the technicians to work on.

IF YOU MEAN OLDSMOBILE ALERO, THEN NO ITS CRAPPY CAR. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR FROM MANUFACTURER THAT WENT BELLYUP? OLDSMOBILE NO LONGER EXISTS IF YOU HAVENT NOTICED.

IF U MEAN NISSAN ALTIMA THEN ITS A GREAT CAR. VERY RELIABLE, FAST, 30MPG AND HAS TIMING CHAIN SO NO EXPENSIVE BELT TO REPLACE.

Maybe you mean Alero. Still not a wonderful car, but if it is in good condition and comes with an extended warranty than it something you could consider.
best to stay with easy to repair base models of cars that are STILL BEING MANUFACTURED.
