I have always enjoyed flying on Delta Airlines because it seems that the flight attendants seem to try harder.

Midwest Airlines has the best flight attendants I have ever met. I have never met one that is rude and I have had over 40 flights with Midwest. All of the attendants have been very friendly and will carry on a good conversation with you. Even the pilots are great.

The South-east asian and Indian airlines have the most courteous flight attendants I have ever met. If you want efficient, go with Lufthansa. I believe those attendants could probably change an engine in mid-flight! (Not possible, but you should see them in action.) I have had good experiences with Jet Blue, Southwest, and Delta. I have also had bad ones. Depending on your level of skill, and in what area, you should try to find a "stew" chat site, and hope you get actual "stews". (In case you did not know, "Stew", and not the name, is what most frequent flyers call a stewardess or steward. We don't call them "Flight Attendants".) Good luck, and make sure you see the sights!

I believe that part of this would depend on where you plan to live. If you speak a foreign language, this would lead to more options. The Asian airlines are consistently rated highest. http://www.airlinequality.com/StarRanking/5star.htm
Domestically, the highest rated airlines are: Frontier, JetBlue, SunCountry and Midwest. http://www.airlinequality.com/StarRanking/4star.htm

If you would like to be the finest flight attendant, then fly around the country. I believe you will see how other flight attendants treat you, and, hopefully, learn how you would like to be treated. Customer service in the air is just like customer service on the ground. See if your community college offers courses in hospitality management. Customer service skills can be learned and practiced, making you the finest flight attendant out there.
Good luck!

I think the best flight attendants are the ones who work for air tran airways. I like this airline the best out of any others that I have flown. I know if you do work for them you get to fly on their airline as well as jet blue for free. good luck in your job hunting, I am looking for work right now myself and it is stress full.

KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines: They're flight attendants are SO nice and the company seems to be run really well. In order to work there though you have to speak Dutch. Its definately worth a shot though.

Jet Blue. I was on one of their flights once, and a kid on the flight was having difficulty with a homework question. None of the attendants or the pilots knew the answer. They came on the speaker and offered a free bag of chips to anyone on the plane that knew. My son won the bag!!
