Texas prisons constantly transfer thier prisoners all over the state on a regualr basis. He may get moved again for no particular reason. I don't know why, but from talking to inmates this happens all the time.

finaldix is right, Unless he was to be transported on a Bench Warrant or for Medical Care, there just isn't enough info to give a definitive answer. BTW the Harris County Jail is not a better or more secure place to house an inmate. TDC has been doing for a lot longer.

There is not enough information. Are you talking about while they are alive? To testify in a trail of a co-defendant? To seek medical care? To separate them from someone they are having an issue with? Just too little info to hazard a guess.

Probably for holding before shipping to TDC, Harris County jail is better equipped to hold dangerous inmates.
