This is a 'long-distance' realationship. We are really great friends during summer camp[8-10 weeks] What I'm wondering is, is it creepy for a girl to do a first move? What if he's to scared-or should I just wait and leave him alone? it sure is hard sometimes.
What can I do to pursue him without pushing him away?

If you're going to call him (which it seems like you've got all the signs to go for it) just be casual. It's easier than you think. And guys don't usually find it creepy when a girl makes the first move, it's actually a relief for them since they don't have to do it themselves. Just keep in mind that you like him and that you two have great chemistry and be natural. Good luck!

I recommend calling him, sometimes the girl can make the first move as long if it isn't too pushy and a phone call is not pushy so go ahead. Also try to flirt friendly so that he knows you like him then maybe he'll start making the moves after that. Hope this helps!

umm, it is perfectly ok to call him. You are not in a real relationship.

At your age you can't yet comprehend real emotional attachment to a person (even if it seems like it is now, it is really just desire or lust).

Long distance relationships don't work out unless you are able to see each other almost as frequently as you would if you were in the same city (Ie: you still see each other almost every weekend) or the long distance period is limited (in europe for a job for a few months).

sure- go ahead and ask him out. Just have it all planned.

Something like "hey I haven't seen you in a while and while we have kept in touch I thought it would be great to get together. I know you like (fill in blank) I was thinking we could (fill in blank)
Would you be interested in getting together and when are you free?"

Be prepared to pay for whatever you suggest for 2 reasons: one you are asking you pay up. Secondly if he offers tell him "you can get it next time" and try to nudge another event.

best wishes.

PS
sometimes guys really aren't interested in girls who make the first move (strange but true) others love it. If you like this guy it is worth finding out so in the worst case- you can move on and stop thinking about it.

Of course it's not creepy for a girl to call first! I reckon that as long as you don't call immediately (before they've even had time to get home and take their coat off so to speak) and you don't declare undying love you're unlikely to scare him off. Best thing is not to play games or second-guess people. Good luck!

In today's society there is nothing wrong with the woman making the first move....alot of guys prefer it to see if you are serious about them and want to begin a relationship.

Just be yourself and casually ask him if he would be interested in taking your friendship to another level, honesty about your feeling is the best way to handle any situation.

You should totally call him, you might not want to lyke go headstrong into the relationship, but at least let him know you're still willing to keep up some sort of relationship w/ him, even if its just friends.

There nothing wrong for a girl to move first step, if you feel that you really need him, then recommend you to call him.

Guys are shy as we are. If I called and talked to this guy I liked in midle school we could have been together now.
