If you think it is going to provide all the answers desperate.
if you are going to use it as part of your dating strategy to meet the right guy, resourceful.
I have been on some internet dates, last time around (about 4 yrs ago), prob went on 5 or so. In the end I met somebody else through latin dancing which I do, but it got me out there playing the game which is the important thing.
It also is a good exercise for making you think about what you want from a partner and the relationship because you usually have to talk about yourself and what you are looking for. This can be a very worthwhile exercise.
IO know quite a few couples who have met this way who admit it and some of whom I'm sure don't admit it, but it does work.
It's not what others think, it's what works for you that counts.

Like with everything we do, it depends on your motives. What's wrong with being desperate? We all want to be loved, to enjoy sex. If you live in an area where it's not possible to meet people then you might very well get desperate! Joining an online dating site is a way of extending your options, so it might be considered resourceful. Therefore my answer is, it could be both things or neither, and there's nothing wrong with that!

No not at all
I met my ex boyfriend on an Internet dating agency and i have also met my currant one off one as well
It is so hard to go out and meet people now, clubs and bars is not good as they are only often after one thing
I have 2 children so i do not get out that much.
The Internet is just a introduction tool and it is really up to you to make the rest work.
It is good not only have i met 2 guys on there that have become a important part of my life but i have also made some good friends as well. Not something that happens that often when you go to a bar and a club.

Both. But there's nothing wrong with doing something resourceful to stop your desperation.
To others who have answered - Why is it seen as sad to be desperate to find that someone special, but not sad for a couple to be desperate to do anything for a baby when they can't conceive?

Usually dating sites are full of cheats, scroungers and generally people who cannot make it the normal way.Log onto a Russian site and get the idea first hand.,All the pictures are studio taken.every woman is a divorcee.she has a masters degree of course and her name is usually olga or tatyana. She wishes to meet with you so you go to Ukraine at great cost and she joins you for a wonderful weekend eating in the best Restaurants, after you give her the expensive gift she dissapears, and that is only for starters. The Eastern europen woman is the biggest scam artist on the planet. withot exception Get the idea???? How do I know 2 of them cost my best freind 20,000 dollars, and broke is heart.

properly, in the event that they do then there are various pathetic and desperate human beings in the international!!! some persons basically have not got the time/inclination/bravado to pass into pubs and golf equipment and socialise to fulfill somebody. The relationship sites supply an possibility for people who're no longer able to fulfill human beings in a distinctive way. you're entitled on your opinion although.

You need to be careful with online dating but regardless it is still a numbers game so the more people you meet the better your chance at finding someone. Just remember it is easier for someone to lie on-line because you cant read their body language or see them.

I've heard some really sweet success stories with online dating. But I have to offer a word of caution. I dated a few guys I met online, and none of my experiences were good. Online, it's easy for a person to appear any way they want. Be careful.
