hi friends my computer doesnt boot up..........
If i repair winxp will my data in my documents & desktop will get erase?

If u ve ne other procedure in which i cannot loose my data plz help......

as long as you didn't format your computer, then you still have your files. otherwise, you won't.

When you boot to windows you will get to a screen that asks you for a repair. A repair will not erase your data. You can also do a reinstall which will not lose your data as long as you do NOT remove the partition. The format only appears if you have removed your partition, so dont remove it.
