My daughter have stinky feet and now is taking Lamsil, a prescribed foot medication to kill the germ, (if anyone know a cheaper brand also cause these pills are $50 for a 30 day prescrition) but how do she keep from reinfecting her feet through her shoes. I can't afford a closet full of new shoes!

If it's athlete's foot you need to spray the floor of the shower with some kind of fungus killer. I think a mixture of chlorine and water or Lysol or something like that would work.

Then use something strong for her shoes. You could wash them in chlorine or use a lot of baking powder to dry them out. The fungus needs moisture, so removing that is paramount.

It's tough to get rid of.

You will probably have to get her new shoes. I don't know how old she is or if she is at that age yet where she has dozens of shoes but throw out her shoes and get her a few new pairs. You don't have to replace them all at once just let her get new ones as you can afford it.

Fill all of them with baking soda. Let it sit for a few days. Works for my feet. If there is any powder left in them, she should wear the shoes with the baking soda still in them.
