Handling human organs is always complex.....if u just pick up a simple surgery n proceed it, it can become complex at any point like if u r not a good surgeon, u are not doing carefully, n if u just damage some major vessel ,it ,ll start bleeding n if u coudnt control the situation, the patient can go to shock n death, so simple surgeris r converted int fetal. Vital organs surgeris can be called realy complex.like brain, heart, etc. good skills n careful attitude is important for every surgery......yes orthopaedics surgeries can be called bit simple when it involve upper n lower limbs as compared to central organs. but again emolism is a great threat to every life in surgeries.

I can't really think of a specific surgery that is the most complex, but I would have to vote anything neonatal or neuro to be the most difficult, strenuous and complex. A lot of major trauma cases are very difficult to perform, just from stories from other surgeons.

Anything to do with the brain is fairly complicated but heart, lung and bowel transplant is booldy hard work. Its not done very often but when it was done in England for the first time, a few years ago, it took three teams of doctors more than 36 hours to complete it

there are too many variables to consider in answering this question...one could add many complications to make the surgery required more complex...
