That sounds like a great idea. Any way you can personalize the ribbon so guests can remember where that ornament came from years down the road? Perhaps silver embossing on the red ribbon.

Firstly, just ignore Kittyrogers, she answers all wedding related questions in the same manner - I think she is a lonely, bitter thing....
Secondly - I think this is a TERRIFIC idea - it is inexpensive, yet seasonal and best of all, different. What a lovely way to combine Christmas with a wedding.
(I'm getting married in March next year and am still trying to decide on favors...if it was closer to Xmas, I would have stolen your idea - it's great)!

I think that is wonderful! It would be nice if the bells or ribbon was engraved with you and your new husband's name and date of the wedding as a memento to remember the two of you for all time!!!

Sounds like a fabulous idea to me. Hang them with personalized ribbon, that way everyone will have an ornament that has your name and wedding date.

Very creative idea. I like it and it is really cute. Try adding a note to the bells and string with your wedding info on it and a Thank you or something on the other side. Congrats.

These are typically sold as favors for that "ring for a kiss" thing. If you're not on board with that you may want to re-think it. But, I don't think this is tacky at all. I suppose you should consider guests who do not celebrate Christmas though.

I think that is a great gift. If I received this as a favor, I would take it home and put it on MY tree and then every year I would think of the two of you.
Congratulations!

Dear, your wedding is OVER A YEAR AWAY, and frankly, I wouldn't worry about this aspect of it at this point in time. And it's "ornament." Get what you want and don't worry so much about this inconsequential stuff, as no one remembers it anyway. You sound VERY YOUNG! The VERY YOUNG always worry about this little stuff that means nothing, and forget about the bigger picture. That is probably one reason the divorce rate is so high today among the young.
