i sleep a lot and don't want to wake up, i think i have no reason to wake up for, i'm always silent, don't feel like talking, locked up in my room, i don't enjoy music or TV, but I always watch TV aimlessly, I beign to smoke, I want to feel numb all the time, I feel guilt, and shame. I think others always underestimate me, I don't know what to do really, I feel I can't deal with this world or people living in it, I don't know what to do, is this depression or what? How long have you been feel this way?
You are definitely depressed. Thing to find out is, is it passing blue? or clinical depression?
You are already seeking help by asking this question.
Now, take a one more step by go see a doctor.
Don't give up if your doctor don't seem to be care, and don't let them just get rid of you with medics.
Doctors are just part of this world, some jerks, and some good.
Keep looking till you find the doctor you comfortable with.
For the mean time, try to get as much of sun as possible.
smoke or seat on a chair out side where you can face the sun.
Believe that you are worth it no matter what others might think of you.
Because you are.

All the symptoms you listed are symptoms of major depression. It sounds very serious. Are you eating a lot or have you no appetite? You did not say that you are feeling sad or blue, but it sounds to me like you are.
You need to see a psychiatrist as soon as possible. It is easier to treat the earlier you get it treated.
I wish I knew what state you live in.
Some states have community mental health centers that will help you pay for your medicines and have psychiatrists you can see if you can't pay on your own.
Sounds like you don't work.
In the meantime, if you can force yourself to at least go outside in the daytime and get some fresh air, this will help. Exercise will also help. I know you don't feel like it, but even if you can just walk around the block, for starters, you will feel better.
Feel better soon.

That is symptoms for depression and you should talk to a professional about it. Maybe take medicine and get professional help. It sounds serious to me. Go to groups and talk to someone about it. You should seek help. I've been there before and know what it's like and I'm still going through it now. I know how that feels and staying isolated and it's not good.

I think you really should go see a doctor/therapist. You need to get things under control before you get further into your depression. I have dealt with depression for many, many years and it is miserable. But, you do need to seek help & find someone to talk to and help. How old are you?
Take care of yourself, things will get better soon. You just have to give it a little time.

I truthfully have been affected by post partum melancholy for the previous one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days as quickly as I gave beginning to a toddler boy. i could no longer provide up thinking approximately how my husband loves him greater suitable than me and how issues might desire to be greater advantageous if he wasn't born in any respect. subsequently, I stayed faraway from him because of the fact I knew that i could do some thing i'm going to sense sorry approximately for something of my existence. very almost rapidly I went to a therapist and convince them that i want help. between different issues, i've got tried organic supplementations and different e book to deal with melancholy yet no longer something works like the melancholy unfastened approach. So now i'm proud to declare i'm between the happiest mom interior the worldwide. If it's not it's a good fake out. You'll know for sure when you are willing to get help. You could just be avoiding something you don't want to face. You can not win a race, if you never take the first step.

Sounds like clinical depression to me, get it checked by a doc, but TRY not to pop anti-depressents. I find physical exercise works though at the beginning i really had to force myself to do it. The very best of luck to you, THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. Peace

Yes it does sound like depression to me. And, yes you should probaly talk to your doctor about seeing a psychiatrist. It doesnt matter how bad your condition is, depression IS serious. A shrink can even give you medicine to cure it.

sounds like it to me honey...maybe you need to schedule yourself a dr's appt.,the sooner you get some kind of treatment started, the better you will feel..alot of those meds., take up to 6 weeks to start noticing any changes...believe me..i've been there..tried about 5 or 6 different meds, paxil, prozac, wellbutrin, lorazepam, klonopins, and a few others.,i've been on valium for about 6 months, cause i have g.a.d.(generalized anxiety disorder)with a mild case of manic depression...it sucks feelin down and out,not wantin to be around anyone,or go anywhere.i've even called in sick to work a few times, because i just didn't want to get out of bed...not that i could afford to loose any work, but,i wasn't thinkin about that at the time,i was just thinkin that ,i didn't want to get up,or do anything.

I think it might be a good start for you to find someone professional to talk to.
Depression is veryy easily treated once it has been acknowledged, and is certainly nothing to be ashamed of.
Good luck.
