A diamond is a piece of coal that over time and pressure has turned into a diamond, cubiczicounium is a man made, it had the look and characteristics of a diamond but it is not a mineral, it also turns over time, plus it is not as brilliant as a diamond. Hope that helped!

The diamond is the real thing, the other is a fake, but some of the fakes are good enough the naked eye can not tell the difference.A jewerly will actually replace real ones with the fakes, hard to tell not real...........
