depends. You might check the local animal shelters and see if they have any. pure breds are rare @ animal shelters but there are some. you might also see if there are any dauchshound rescues out there. you might check petfinder to find out if someone is having to relenquish one for some reason.

Dachshunds (wiener dogs) vary in price, depending on if you go through a rescue (My recommendation) a backyard breeder, or a reputable breeder.
They can range from $200 to over $1,000 (Usually for a pure bred with champion lines)
I suggest you do some research, its a good idea for any breed, let alone one you don't know the breed name of.

You mean Dachshund? They can range anywhere from $150 to $600, some can range over $1000, depending on who you get it from and if it's registered.

you're best bet is to keep checking the local dog pounds to find one. A nice one will come along eventually. There are soo many dogs that need good homes, breeding them is not really necessary.

Dearie,if you don't even know the BREED *NAME*(DACHSHUND!)then you are NOT ready to be asking PRICES!!!
You WILL get SCAMMED into paying some CROOK WAY TOO MUCH for a POS!!! I guarantee it!!!
Go to the AKC site & READ the BREED STANDARD *FIRST*!!!

A wiener dog puppy somewhere but if you go to grendoxdachshunds.com and click on puppies you will see something that is in blue that says avaliable...it is a Chocolate/Tan male named lucky avaliable..
