It could have been just teenagers (I am driving a brand new very expensive car (not mine! it's my brother in law's)) & I this bright yellow SUV followed home. He turned down this residential street and I purposefully went by my house & went around the loop again (and he followed me for 4 turns). So I sped up & lost him. But it was strange because if he was really going this way, he took a whole loop around (long way) for no reason.

Next day, I was at a shopping mall & no one was on either side of me. I come out 5 min. later and the same or very similar bright yellow SUV was parked RIGHT next to me (although there were plenty of spaces) & a young sort of normal looking guy was sitting in it talking on cell.

The neighborhood I live in couldn't be more crime free (I don't think there has been a serious crime here ever) and there are a lot of fancy expensive cars around....so what do you think?

This was all at daytime. I can't see that I'm in any danger, but isn't it weird?

maybe he knows the owner of the car an wanted to talk to them or he could be a stalker or planning to steal the car and getting your usual daily locations down so he can figure out where an when to strike Personally I'd call the cops if someone followed me like that an ended up parking next to me in an open parkinglot I think you may have a problem alert the police

and NO neighborhood on earth is a no crime neighborhood something eventually happens everywhere theres always a first time an you could be it

I think you're getting stalked. It was great to go by your house. Next time drive to the police station. Try to get the license number, if you see the car again and file a complaint. If anything happens to you, the cops will know who to look for. I would tell the school principal
and your Mom the license number, in case he does this to other girls. If the principal complains, he could get arrested for trespassing on school property. Also, tell all of your girlfriends about this, so they can warn you if the car is in the area.

If the man planned to steal your car, would he be stupid enough to let you see him let alone parked right next to you? Think about it. If it were you trying to commit a crime, wouldn't you want to stay low, catching as little attion as possible or better off none at all? Changes are he's into car and probably interested in your model. Be careful anyway!

The worst thing you could have done is gone by your home! USMC anti terrorist training tells us to vary our routine as often as possible. If you normally leave for work at 7am start to leave at 6:15 and change it up often. Drive different routes to get to where you are going. Get the license number and CALL THE POLICE! They wont tell you who it is, but if you tell them that you are worried about this suspicious behavior the will do something about it. DON'T CONFRONT HIM YOURSELF!!!! You are not trained to deal with this posible threat. I'm a Marine and I'm NOT trained to deal with this A@# HOLE!!

If I were you, I'll just go straight to him and ask him directly why
he was following me in his yellow SUV yesterday. I'm sure
that I'll get a reply from him.
That's the best way to find out.
