You could read Lauren Winner's book "Girl Meets God."
She relates almost every Jewish feast that was important to her when she was an orthodox Jew to a season or date in the Christian calendar (e.g. Passover--->Easter; the giving of the Law to Moses--->Pentecost.)

As long as I know, Passover was a jewish ritual, the daily sacrifices of lambs, yearly sabbaths, and other holidays like the one when they camped outside the city to remember how their fathers traveled through the desert; in spanish it's called "fiesta de las Cabañas", but I don't know who you call it in english though; that party is mentioned in John 7.
All those ceremonies and rituals forshadow Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The daily sacrifices were a symbol of the great sacrifice of the Lamb of God for humanity. The Israelites were saved by faith just as we are. The only difference is that, through the sacrifices of animals, they looked forward to the sacrifice of the Messiah; now, we look barckward because it already happened: Jesus came and died on behalf of humanity. Once the symbos found their fulfillment in the Person they represented, they were not longer to apply. That's what the Bible meant in Daniel 9:27, talking about a prophetic time -- "And he [the Christ] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease...". Let's notice that the ceremonial law was nulified, the law of Moses; not the Ten Commandment Law, God's Law.
The Sanctuary and the things that were in there were also a shadow of Jesus Christ. Even the high priest represented Jesus Christ, our High Priest, as the Bible says in the Epistle to the Hebrews. There was a yearly ritual which took place at the Sanctuary. It's described on Levitucus 16. It was a day in which the Sanctuary was cleansed from the sins of the people throughout the year. It was a Judgment day for the Jews. All sin had to be confessed and left, then God would forgive them.
How is this ceremony --the clenase of the Sanctuary-- related to Christianity?
Daniel 8:14 tells us, in prophetic language: "And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." (you may read the whole chapter, which is parallel to Daniel 2 and 7). When we read the interpetation of this Bible verse --Dan. 8:14-- in Daniel 9:20-27, we learn that by the time this prophecy of Daniel 8:14 would take place, there was not an earthly Sanctuary anymore, at least a building. So what Sanctuary would be cleansed then? The Bible talks in Hebrews about a Heavenly Sanctuary. There are many, especially the ceremonies of the temple. Christ was not a Christian he was a Jew. It wasn't until he died that Christians came about.
