Depends on what I read. "Hey atheists why are you here... you don't belong here!!" is something that strikes a nerve in me. I literally shudder every time someone uses the phrase "wrong religion" -- that just comes off as so rude and obnoxious. Also, I hate reading the assumptions and generalizations about non-Christians: "They have Satan in their lives!" "They must have had bad childhoods!" "They're just secretly terrified that Christians might be right!" "They are secretly insecure and scared!" It's all ridiculous. I really try hard to be nice but it's difficult when people spout that kind of garbage. I mean, seriously, do Christians really think that the reason why atheists' reject Christianity comes down to fear alone? That they're secretly worried that the Bible is true? No atheist on the face of the planet falls under that description... give me a break.

I personally haven't gotten angry in this forum. But then, I got to work out a lot of my issues in a strictly Christian forum quite a while back. I will say that I do understand what it is to be passionate about something I believe wholeheartedly.
Somewhere along the lines I have come to know more fully that there really isn't an issue important enough to use words as a weapon to try and destroy someone. In other words, I've come to understand that people are more important than issues - and the only reason issues are important is because they usually involve people. The bottom line is: I love Jesus. Jesus loves people. He's not shooting injurious words at people. I want to be like Him when I grow up! :) :)
Peace. :)

Not so much anger, but I respond.
Sometimes I just read the answers and either shake my head or laugh. That when I realize the freedom to be able to say what you want, since we're all behind a facade. Sometimes even anger makes you think more on something that may even change your mind.

Nice question. It's strange, but your question made me feel very calm.....? It's very weird...! Anyways, to answer your question: Yes, I have been very mad at some points while answering some very ridiculous and prejudice questions, but at the end I always realized that it's very childish to have been so mad at nothing. It was their opinion, and they have all the right to express it. My position is to calmly oppose their notion in an intelligent matter.

Nope, Grabiel, I have not. However, it could change at any minute. And I think it's going to.
I admire your ability to hold your tongue.

no, this fortunately is not that important in my life to get angry over. I think that the controlling radicals on here who want everything to go their way is scary. there are other areas of yahoo that are not so hostile. this one is sketchy because oftentimes people want to DEFEND thier position to people who could care less. I don't get it.

I have had a couple of Emails thanking me for keeping my cool and for my answers.
I just try to remember that any age and any IQ can, and do, ask questions and state OPINIONS.
