**Sorry, this is pretty long**
Recently, I've been facing what seems to be depression. I've been feeling ugly, so I end up doing things like getting my hair done, eyebrows arched, wearing contacts, dressing cute, and other superficial things like that but I would STILL feel ugly on the inside. I notice the big flaws on me every time i look in the mirror like baggy eyes and my manly face structure. I feel like I am fat, useless, & disgusting. Everytime I try to do something to fix my appearance on the outside I always end up feeling like its something within. No matter what positive comment people would say about me, I think that either they're lying or that they can see my pain & pity me. Everyday I wakeup and feel like s**t. I always feel the need to isolate myself from my friends. Its been like this for a couple of months now & I just want to be back to the old confident me. I never smile, joke, or laugh like i used to. I feel like there's something missing....Whats wrong with me?

~~~Truley sounds like your in a depression...It not your fault, its a chemical inbalance in our brain that tells us no matter what we try or do to improve different aspects in our lives,,,,there is always that dark cloud above ,,,,I personally am on Paxill. It keeps me at a happy even keel,,,,not to giddy happy,,,,just peacfull I should say,,,,when I try to go off it,,,,I feel just like you described. So I stay on it. Have you spoke to your Dr about your symptoms,,,;you really should,,,,,Just remember,,,,its a chemical imbalance,,,,,nothing that you did or didnt do,,,,,, hugs to you,,,,
Sounds like you're probably suffering from depression. Call your doctor and for a medication that can help you relieve the symptoms of depression. You also might want to make a few visits to a therapist to talk through all of your internal issues.
