yes, the only thing that ever worked for me was doing Dr. Richard Schulze's incurable program especially his intestinal cleanse program.

Years before yoyo became popularly known I noticed this tendency to lose weight and always gain it back PL:US MORE.

When I went on this intensive (and expensive time consuming program of improving health) (I went on it for other health problems and it also did this), I lost 70 pounds doing a one month juice fast as part of my program.

Though it has been ten years and I went back to my normal pattern, I still have only gained 1/2 of the lost 70 pounds back which has NEVEr happened to me I always gained it ALL back plus more. In fact, need to go on it again since it was so successful and will also improve health in general.

He learned of it through Dr. John R. Christopher who said prior to doing several good bowel cleansing programs, that he ate 4 large meals a day and after-wards only 2 small ones and was never hungry and had greater energy and health.

He said in his book that all his students (his school was the "Natural School of Healing) and all students "cut their grocery bill in half" He also lists an anti-obesity formula that can be done in conjunction with the "mucusless diet" in his book "the School of Natural Healing."

The colon cleansing works by removing hardened rubber tire like old fecal matter and thus allowing nutrients to once again be absorbed so you aren't always starving cause you are not getting nutrients from the food you are eating. It also stops filthy blood from flowing through your organs, causing most disease/

This incurables programs works for all diseases including incurable ones.

Also the adkins diet is unsafe.

the key to weight loss is burn more calories in a day than you consume. So, try to eat foods that have less calories and try to stay as active as possible. Even if you walk around the block a few times or take the stairs rather than the elevator, every bit counts. Also, rather than the traditional 3 big meals a day, try breaking down your meals to smaller meals that you eat more often. Have something healthy for breakfast, a healthy snack (fruit ,yogurt, low calorie protein shake, etc) then lunch, another healthy snack, then dinner, then maybe another healthy snack if you are still hungry. A mind trick I use to do is... I would make my normal plate of food for lunch then divide it in half and put away a half and eat the other half. It made me consume less calories. Basically, you feel less hunger since you are literaly eating all day and this also helps to keep your motabolism running all day. Also, most obese people suffer from knee pain so running or walking may hurt a little. Instead of putting yourself through that pain and risking injury, try an elliptical trainer or swimming instead. Not only will these exercises help burn more calories than walking, they help to avoid joint pain or pressure. Hope this helps. These tips all worked for me... HONEST!

I have always subscribed to the philosophy of all things in moderation. This has worked for me, but may not for everyone. However it is a good way to go. Remember it takes time, patience and most of all caring for yourself. Don't let your failures be the guide to your success. If you stress out so much at the gain of a pound, you belittle yourself for the loss of an ounce. Loosing weight is not easy, it depends on any number of factors. Not just how much you eat, how much you exercise, or how much you sit around like a slug. When you look in the mirror, that's when you set your goal. What would I look like five pound lighter? Remember it's baby steps, not giant ones that help you achieve your goal.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout to use as well.

Drink more and more water
Add less salt or none at all, it worked for me
Walk for at least half an hour a day
Don't think of food and find other activities to fill your time
Eat what you like, It's how much you eat not what you eat
Drink green tea it increases your body metabolism
Eat small quantities in each meal and distribute it all over you day
Eat food rich in fibers, it will make you feel full

According to the Biggest Loser, counting your calories is the number one way to lose weight. To figure out how many calories that you can intake in one day, take your current weight, and times it by 7. As you lose the weight, keep figuring out how many calories that you can have.
I am doing the same thing right now.
I hope that this works for you.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

A healthy diet . eating more fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water everyday.. walking . being more active such as keeping busy .eat salads,, chicken, fish,, no fatty foods . cut out sugar ... taking vitamins sometimes helps.. read the sugar content in juices , they are mostly high.. keep the bread and white products at a once in a while eating. cheese should be cut back.. walking to your pace don't over do it if you are not used to walking a long distance.. swim. do body stretches for the muscles..any exercising is great.. don't eat before exercising it slows you down.. and after you exercise don't pig out . eat a little then a little more later.. don't eat after 7 p.m. if you have to . eat cereal not high in sugar. eat soup..salad..oatmeal..
