I have a ton of allergies. I get allergy shots and take Zyrtec-D, Nasonex and Advair. In the fall and spring I tend to have to clear my throat on occasion. The past week I have done it so often, now it hurts in my chest when I do. Should I be worried?

I don't smoke and I am currently taking an antibiotic for something unrelated - Tetracycline.

That is what you do when you have sinus drainage. Mine does that too, I take Allegra and that helps better. You should get a chest x-ray to be sure, as your chest should not be hurting. You can get immune to some of these medications, so it might be time for a change.

I have chronic sinus infection and nothing works. I clear my throat all the time. Your chest shouldn't hurt but I find my dose sometimes. Do you smoke? This makes life hard for allergy vicitms. I smoke I know. Maybe you want to try a home remedy I found a site naturalremedies4u.blogspot.com

I wouldn't be worried, but you should follow up with a Dr.

It might be that you have bronchitis or an infection of some kind.
