it doesnt upset me as i dont have to live with it!! yeah she letting her hair down but my ears are hurting as i have been on phone 4 nearly hr and half and carnt get rid!!!

When you are sober and are talking to a drunk person,it is some how irritating as you are not on the same wave length.

Because that is one of the joys of being a mum. If it is that bad then politely ask your mum to STOP IT.

lol..i feel you...when someone gets drunk they love EVERYONE, they waffle on about everything and nothing...my ex was the same.they go into this little world and there's no stopping them...be nice about this, but say.."mum i got friends over, i have to go" then hang up....it's not being nasty, but it does save the ear ache

Most people who are drunk get on everybodys' nerves, unless your'e drunk yourself, then you are on the same wavelength, and don't notice that the other person is talking rubbish.
