Best will be some near-professional grade dedicated film/slide scanner. Stuff like that is between a couple hundred and a couple thousand on eBay. If that's more than you want to invest, or this is a one-time project, you could rent one. Or send them out somplace to be scanned.

My adventure with action picture scanners (Minolta) is they're costly, no longer consumer-friendly to function and that they take a little time to test a physique. however, I did get super effects -- in all probability greater advantageous than shopper digicams -- yet purely with very great grain transparency action picture and a good style of fidgeting with utility. in the previous you pass down this highway, pass down on your close by digicam keep and ask them to test you some frames at fairly some resolutions. in case you like the outcomes, see in case you are able to negotiate a quantity decrease value on your containers of negs. i'm going to wager you will shop a ton of time and funds doing it this type. desire this helps.
