otherwise someone can get hurt very badly. The kitchen is a very hazardous area. There are sharp tools. hot elements on the stove. boiling water, or worse oil. I'm a cook and it's amazing how I can get burnt or cut and all while paying attention to what I'm doing.

because u could get seriously hurt if your not careful, like i have a scar on my finger where i cut part of it off when i was slicing apples.
also, the food might taste bad :)

because there are sharp, hot, cold, heavy objects all over the place. Plus it will keep the place clean, so you don't get spoiled food.
