i was so scaried but dont understand why i couldnt scream,today my ex-boyfriend came outta of nowhere and punch me as hard as he could in the gut,gosh i thought i was dying it hurt so bad ,im 22yrs old and couldnt scream for help ,why ? he walked away laughing ,,was this reaction normal or should i be worried im 5"6 120lbs ,it still hurts,,anyone else ever have something like this happen to them?

its only temporay pain girl,a punch in the gut like that is extremly painful and yes you cant breathe or even make a sound but once the pain subsides you will be o.k....sure you can deal with it ,you sound like you r in shape

Yes, you had the wind knocked out of you. It is a fairly common, quite temporary experience. More importantly, call the police immediately and report this physical abuse. Get a restraining order against this creep. You don't deserve that kind of treatment and if you let it go once, it will only escalate! Good luck to you.

You had the wind knocked out of you. If ever you get the wind knocked out of you again put your head between your knees.
You will be able to breathe then.
He was telling you he owned you and you were his punching bag - you gonna take that?
You might take a women's self-defence class too.

I'm really sorry about what happened.
It sounds like he winded you, which causes a violent explusion of breath from your lungs, making it impossible for you to scream. Or may fear paralysed you. This happens with some people.
Hope you press charges.

Let him know that he has to go to sleep sometime..........then brain the f***er with a frying pan or louisville slugger.........If he hit you hard enough in the stomach to knock the wind out of you that bad, he could have damaged internal organs. You should be checked out as soon as you can. And remind him that what goes around comes around!!

a unexpected punch in the gut like that will knock the wind completly outta you girl..you will be ok your gut might be sore for some time
