I can't see any good reason why he couldn't have a bone. If he's at the point where he can hold down food and water....
Be sure to give him extra loving and, while you're at it, give yourself an "atta boy" for being a responsible pet owner and having your dog neutered. Be proud!

You know your dog the best. Yes let you dog have a bone. It shouldn't hurt him. It would be like eating a small meal. If he gets sick don't let him have anymore.

It's ok, as long as he is a good dog. a bone wont hurt. my dog wouldnt eat for 3 days afterward.

I don't see why that would be a problem as long as you make sure he doesn't a lot of it. I guess if you got him one of those little rawhide sticks he'd be fine.
