I'm using a shampoo, conditioner, and curling cream to prep my hair but if anyone has tips on how to finish it off, let me know please!

Use a diffuser to blow dry it, upside down, while scrunching it.

Aveda volumizing hairspray works very well in bringing out the curl. I have straight hair, but when I use this, it makes my hair wavy.

It sounds like you have my kind of hair, so after you are done with your prep work flip your hair forward and dry it up side down and crunch the curls with your hand until dry and then flip your hair back and place it. That's what works for me.

Get your hairdresser to layer your hair and then you could always set it your hair on small to medium rollers to make it more curly

curling cream still requires rollers to be used on straight and wavy hair

works for my friend who has just hair that os just above the shoulders every time.

first make sure you have the right shape to your hair to have it bouncy in other words layers, layers, layers. and you can finish off with mousse has it defines the hair but leaves it bouncy. it is said that mousse enhaces volume and curliness is the summum of volume...good luck. as I am naturally curly and a lot, and a hairsylist, I can guarantee you it will work...
