Mother gives milk.
Cows also gives milk.
Mother milk and cow milk are easily digestible.
Mother is a tamed human being.
Cow is a tamed animal.
Mother is sacred and so the cow.
Mother speaks and the cow cries.
Both are exploited by human being in the name of a certain holy name 'Sacred'.
Cows do survive in India without any problem.
In some other countries they dont. So they are not sacred. Mother also is not sacred in some other countries.

The human infant is fed breast milk by its human mother for under three years. After weaning, the cow acts as the surrogate mother providing milk for the rest of the human life-through childhood, adult age and old age. Cow is verily the mother of the world. One would be filled with repugnance at the ungrateful idea of killing mother, whether surrogate mother or otherwise.).

Because the cow is the most useful animal, it can pull a plough, give you milk, butter, cheese, manure, eating the grass is good for the soil. Doesn't require much food, can tolerate extremes of temp. It is also a very calm animal, and is very slow to display emotions such as anger or greed, hence it is revered. It is very similar to people worshiping the sun, just a biological rather than physical organism.

Cow is just a animal. It is highly idiotic to compare it with our Creator.I've saw people using the piss of cow as as a sacred thing during poojas.
I pray for them so that they will be changed from such foolish beliefs.
