Right, for a starters my hair is short at like above the neck, a bob sort of cut all length but the thing is, I straighten it, but it flicks out at the ends. It follows the shape of my neck and my face, so the front strands curl towards my chin (inside) and the ends flick out to make me look like some dork.
How can I keep my ends straight? The rest of the hair is fine.

you could get it cut in layers, then manually curl it out at the end kind of flared. that would look cute. or you could get this pomade stuff. i'm not sure exactly what it's called but it's something like that. you could also try sculpting gel. i know garnier fructisse has some. also before you straighten it, try to put some kind of flat iron-safe hair spritz/spray on it to help it stay. good luck! :)

I'd reccomend using a straightenning product in your hair before you style it so it maintains shape all day. Then, with your flat iron, curl under slightly so you hair frames your face. This way if it flips out, it will just look straight. Oh yeah, use a little bit of flexible hairspray! It'll keep it from letting the humidity get to your ends which is probably causing it to flip out in the first place. Good luck!

Same problem. Go to drugstore or wherever and get John Frieda Hair Serum #5 not expensive. Wash, condition, and then squeeze all the water from your hair, put about a dime's worth of the serum in your hair while wet do not towel dry, work the serum all thru your hair especially the ends and then style as usual. u will be amazed all. It costs about 20.00 last your hair length 7 months.

Sounds cute. I wouldn't do anything to it but maybe fluff it up a little with a brush. Chmicals, irons, etc. do a lot of damage to your hair.

Maybe you could grow it out a little, too. and have it a little shorther on the underside and Have it a little longer at the crown. This should help avoid the look you are having now.

if you make sure that the end has no curve at all it should take care of the problem if not, it is because you blowdry your hair inside out let me explain, when you take the strand it is not allwed to fall naturally in the brush and whe you let go of the strand it flips to regain its natural posture...my advice to you is dont fight it so many woman use hairsprays pommades and gels to have their hair stick out like that...
