belly dancing has been the best way to loose weight so far for me and when I was feeling down about how I looked. belly dance helped me with my confidence too. I feel really good about my weight and image now because of it. also try yoga, its the good stuff. they both make you feel good and loose weight fast. you'll be working muscles you dont usually work.
I gained a lot of weight from going out to eat with my ex. his family were a bunch of lazy fatties, so they would do nothing but go out and eat everynight. so they slowly turned me into one of them and I hated them for it. I was so thin around my thighs and tummy and then I got huge. I would cry and kick holes into the walls of my room beacuse I was so depresses and angry. after I found out about belly dance it was so good for me. I loved it.

Hi hun, you cannot spot reduce. Your genetic composition made it more likely for u to gain weight in your thighs and tummy. If you just do cardio five times a week for half hour every day your body will slowly lose the fat in those problem areas. Thats the best and healthiest way to do it. I would say give it like 6 weeks. There is no faster way of doing it and if people say there is...it is either too expensive or they are lying. Just make sure u exercise regularily and eat healthy.....
and ya you might say you dont have "time" to exercise....
but yes...yes u do
instead of watching that episode of everybody loves raymond, do a aerobics workout out....or go for a half hour walk with ur baby so you both can get some fresh air.
Its quite simple just have to be disciplined.

You can't spot reduce fat, unfortunately. If you're looking good everywhere else, it simply means that your thighs and butt are the places you tend to pack on the fat. The only way to get rid of it is through cardio and diet. As far as a plan, you might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout to use as well.

How To Tone Your Thighs
Many people, mostly women tend to put on excess weight on the thighs and buttocks. Thighs always lose weight very slowly, no matter how much you diet. The weight loss that occurs due to dieting can be due to decrease of fat from other places. Our genes are the culprits that can decide the area where most of the fat cells lie and thighs are the main area where these cells are centered. Though the number of fat cells in your body will not change, you can reduce the size of your inner thighs. Reducing the quantity of fat within the cells is the key to slimmer and thinner thighs.
You can develop lean thighs in two ways: reduce overall fat from your body, which will ultimately lead to removal of fat from thighs or tone and firm the thighs using the thigh exercises. When you tone the thighs using exercises, your metabolism goes up. Higher metabolism results in more calories being burned. This leads to reduction of fat deposits in thighs. When you combine aerobics with the thigh exercise, you will achieve results quickly.
Squats are excellent for toning the thighs. There is a notion that squats can lead to big increase in size. But you are in control. If you do not want to go for big thighs, use moderate weights. This will tone the thighs very fast. But there is a slight increase in the size of the muscle when it is toned. To retain its growth, you need to increase the intensity of the exercise. But if you choose not to, exercising with the same intensity will not lead to bigger thighs. Squats make it very easy for you to control the thigh size. Do squats thrice a week on alternate days. Start lightly with just your body weight for 2-3 sets, with each set consisting of 10 reps. Over a period of 3-4 weeks slowly increase the intensity.Walking, rowing or any exercise where you have to use thighs and other bigger muscles simultaneously is the excellent exercise to reduce fat from the thighs. When you use thighs and other bigger muscles your metabolic rate goes up. This cause more calories to be burnt. Perform these exercises slowly for around 20 minutes. You can do squats before aerobics on the same day or on different day from aerobic exercises.

K the best thing i have found is the gym they have a special machine that works your inner thigh and outer thigh. I have the same problem with my thighs but i have had it all my life. If you do find a better cure to this problem let me know.

to be quite honest, the best thing for you to do is cardio, and eat healthy (dont have to necesarily diet, just cahnce your eating habits) i have a 2 year old daughter, and it took 2 years for me to safely, and effectively lose the weight i gained from having her (about 40 lbs!) haha and now im trying to get pregnant again..you cant "lose"weight in one area, you slowly lose it everywhere. just keep on being persistant! besides, the endorphins you get from exercising will not only make you look great, but feel better inside too. good luck and dont give up!

Baggy clothes hide one's body and encourage lounging around. So even though you're relaxing at home, wear fitted clothes to help keep you on track.
