joseph was, at first, quite distraught but Mary held to her word to God that she would allow things in His time. God spoke to Joseph and there was understanding.
it was a very challenging time for him as a woman in Mary's condition was generally stoned or cast out from the family. However, I believe God used this as a testament to how, with God in the lead and allowing Him to work through us -- all things are possible andwill have a positive outcome.

ok, what? Have you noticed at the very top right of your dialogue there is a tiny little icon. It says "Check Spelling". Click on that before you click on preview. I'm not sure what besmirtch or means. I'm assuming brinde means bride. But I would think it a great honor to carry the Lord's child. He was Lord, the baby could not be aborted. God knew Mary would never do that. And He also knew Joseph would not expect her to. But he was going to quietly divorce her until the Angel of God came to him and told him what to do and what had happened. Have a little read through the first couple chapters in the first 3 books in the new testament. I pray you have a lovely day.

There was abortion in those days. In fact, Joseph was about to break his betrothment to Mary when he found out she was pregnant, so no, he would not be required to make her abort. Infanticide and honor killing was the method of the gentiles and pagans around the Jews at that time.

you haven't read the story have you?
It did besmirtch his honor that's why Joseph was going to quietly end the courtship as not to dishonor Mary, but an angel told Joseph what was going to happen, Joseph believed and stayed with Mary not having sexual relations with her until after she gave birth to the Christ.

Why do you anticipate that he become not married. because of the fact the bible would not point out it? The final verse in St. John can answer that. John 21:25 And there are additionally many different issues which Jesus did, the which, in the event that they could desire to be written every physique, i assume that even the international itself ought to not incorporate the books that could desire to be written. Amen.

Abortion was common in the ancient world, and was accomplished by a number of different means.
The usual way an unmarried woman with child was dealt with, was by stoning.

To question God's selection of Mary for his purpose is a bit stupid, don't you think?
Mary was chosen because of her virtues and linage. She came from David's blood lines, or did you overlook that?

actually in a sense it did.
theres a line in the bible predating Jesus, that allows 2 men to conspire, and beat a pregnant woman such that she loses the pregnancy, and as long as she survives, its up to the husband to fine the agressor or not.
and for goodness sakes the commandment is *NOT* do not kill. its do not murder. theres a HUGE difference. a unborn fetus does not have personhood thus cannot be murdered.
