i have always wondered what makes a man a good man. is it his money, his time, his package, looks, etc. what do you consider most important when you are looking for a man.superficial matters aside, what is most important to you.

what would you deal with when dealing with a man.and what would you absolutely not deal with in a man

My top priorities in a man are
his honesty/candor/sincerity;
if he is a gentleman through and through (ie, if he pulls out my chair at dinner but is rude to the wait staff, he's not a gentleman); and his intelligence (not his IQ but his awareness of the world and how it works).
Of course a certain chemistry is vital to a romantic relationship, and would be influenced by his looks, his style, etc, but these don't make him a "good man." I'd be more impressed by a man who spent lots of time on me than a man who spent a lot of money on me.
I totally refuse to put up with a man who lies, cheats, insults me; who is racist or homophobic or otherwise intolerant of others; attempts to buy my affections or control me. Life's too short!

What I like is a person who can be honest. Whats most important to me is him understanding me and what makes me tick and not doing things that pick my scars. The one thing I will not deal with is being lied to.

I want everything from a man, his looks, personality, time, and etc. I refuse to settle for less, I want the complete package.

You question makes me laugh. You write "is it his money, his time, his package, looks" then say "superficial matters aside" LOL
A good man is all about morals, character, values and having standards.

i prefer a guy whos got a good sense of humor. but he can't be too silly and funny all the time cuz then he won't take me seriously when i say something.
and i can deal with a guy joking around or annoying me or something, but i can't deal with him looking at other girls or hitting on them.

What's most important? Chemistry/spark...without that, all the money, looks, power, etc just don't matter.

Communication, because women hate to be ignored! We like to be compromised with even if we may be wrong, at least pretend that we're right. Sometimes we get overly emotional, although we don't like to admit it, so be sensitive to our feelings during those times.
