There are different ways you can sample their various products, and I've only been disappointed (and only slightly) by their Hefeweizen...not a true hefeweizen, it seemed too heavy for a wheat beer. Their White Ale (the winter specialty) is my personal favorite, but Oktoberfest is a close second. As far as their year round beers, I am a fan of the old school Sam Adams Lager.

My favorites are the Boston lager and Boston ale, each with the distinctive Sam Adams clean and hearty but with a bit of skunkiness taste.

Harp is an excellent amber lager with lots of flavor. Friends of mine who do not like beer like to drink Harp.

My personal favorite is the Ale, it has a red label. Haven't seen it around in a while. Anyone know if it is still around?
